A memorial mass was celebrated Jan. 7 at Immaculate Conception Church in Secaucus for Joseph J. Purcell, 71. He died Jan. 3. Joe was born in Jersey City and lived with his family in Secaucus. Joe spent his career working for UPS and was president of Teamster Local 177. Joe loved to golf, fish, the NY Giants and helping others in a quiet way. Joe is survived by his wife of 49 years, Audrey Purcell, his daughters Donna and husband Ron and Stacey, his granddaughters Dana and Nicole, and sister Mary Gallo (nee Purcell).
