Thank you to all

To the Editor:
Recently, the Bayonne Cal Ripken Baseball League held a fundraiser to benefit Frank Scibetta Jr. Frank is a brave young boy who is need of a kidney transplant.
It was a fun and productive event, as close to 100 people attended. Children danced and participated in activities, and everyone enjoyed fantastic food from many of Bayonne’s finest restaurants and caterers. The success of this fundraiser was first made possible by the caring and generous hearts of the Bayonne’s Peninsula Lodge No. 99.
Without the help of the members and officers of these Freemasons, our league could not have hosted the event in such a perfect venue or have helped the Scibetta family. The assistance and attention of Past Master Ed Flores was greatly appreciated by our fundraising committee. This is another great example of why Peninsula Lodge No. 99 is a continued asset to our community and how well we can all work together to help each other in times of need. I encourage the community to attend any of the Peninsula’s future events and parties and see all the positive and good things the oldest and one of the most respected fraternities has to offer.
A check was later presented to the Scibetta family at the Bayonne Cal Ripken Baseball annual Awards Dinner last month.
Thank you to all of the individuals, businesses and Peninsula Lodge No. 99 for donating all their time, money and delicious food for a great cause and for making this upcoming holiday season a little bit brighter for Frankie.
Merry Christmas, Happy Holidays and a Happy New Year to all.
