Mayor Mark A. Smith and Gary S. Chmielewski, director of Public Works, parks and Recreation, have announced registration for the Co-Ed Indoor Volleyball League.
Rosters may be submitted any weekday at the City Hall Parks and Recreation Office Room No. 13 from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Grammar school players are ineligible. Rosters should be complete with name, address, telephone number, and date of birth of all players. Games will be played on Monday and Wednesday nights at 6:30 p.m. and 7:15 p.m. All games will be played at the Washington School Gym. Before putting in a roster, make sure your team will be able to participate in the league. Forfeits are disruptive to the league and are frustrating to those teams ready to play.
The registration fee is $25 per person for participating in the league. Registration deadline and league money is due Wednesday, Dec. 23. The season is to start Monday, Jan. 4, 2010.
