A mass of Christian burial was offered Dec. 15 at Our Lady of Grace Church, Hoboken, for Rosemary Tyrell, 86, of Middletown, NY. She passed away Dec. 11 at St. Theresa Nursing Home, Middletown, NY. Born in Jersey City, she lived most of her life in Hoboken for before moving to Washingtonville and then Middletown, NY several years ago. She was a graduate of St. Mary’s Nursing School and was a nursing supervisor at Meadowview Hospital in Secaucus for 30 years, retiring in 1987. She was predeceased by her siblings William Anthony Tyrell (1991), Eileen Roche (2002) and Maryann Hastings (2008). She is survived by many nieces, nephews and friends.
