Homeless woman wandered streets of Hoboken for 12 years while children searched for her

HOBOKEN — She called herself “Maria” or “Carmen” but her real name was Minerva. People in Hoboken saw her wandering the streets for more than ten years. No one realized her three children were looking for her — the three children who had been taken away from her nearly 30 years ago.
