HALASZ, BLASIUS

A memorial blessing was held Dec. 8 at St Francis R.C. Church for Blasius “Bill” Halasz, formerly of Passaic. Bill died peacefully at home on Oct. 27. He was born in Kiskunhaias, Hungary. He served in the Hungarian Army where he worked as a mechanic. Bill came to the US in 1966. Blasius worked for Chrysler Motor Co., Oneida Motor Freight and APA Transport. He was always interested in the engineering aspect of mechanics, as well as a passion for gardening. He is survived by his sister Anna Halasz, of Hungary, and a cousin Thomas Onody. He is also survived by dear friends George Toth, Tony and Elisabetha Marrone, and David and Jeffrey Radlin. Services arranged by the Lawton-Turso Funeral Home, Hoboken.
