HOBOKEN — New Jersey Business magazine reported today that despite the bizarre allegations against the founder of First Priority Pay/Priority Payroll in Hoboken, payroll giant ADP plans to continue their business agreement.

ADP is going ahead with a deal it struck with Hoboken-based First Priority Pay, despite the reported arrest of the owner of the smaller company late Tuesday.
“ADP is not acquiring or taking over First Priority Pay, but has a contract with First Priority Pay that permits us to solicit and then convert” the company’s customers to ADP, according to a statement the Roseland-based giant payroll services company e-mailed to NJBIZ. “We are committed to our agreement with First Priority Pay, and are going forward with the contract.”
