Vote Waddleton for Commissioner

Dear Editor:
If you are in the Employees Retirement System, in the coming days, you will receive a ballot in the mail to vote for Commissioner. It is very important that you follow all instructions when casting your vote for Commissioner. Otherwise, your vote will not count because it won’t be credited. We all know by now how every vote counts; which is one of the reasons I am running to be elected your Commissioner. My Slogan, if I can have eight words, “Union Member Working for Pension Protection and Improvement!”
There are actually numerous reasons I am running to be your Commissioner. One is that now, more than ever, the city workers who are concerned about their pensions, should have “One of Us” representing them and voting upon what’s in “Our” best interest. Secondly, I am sincere when I say that I am concerned for all city workers that, throughout the years, have given their blood, sweat and tears, working their hearts out, to do a good job for Jersey City. What appears to be an inevitable furlough must not negatively impact, not by one red cent, the pensions of these people?
In this election, I have the support of Chuck Carol and the mother of local unions for city workers, Local 246. Anytime, the largest Union that consists of roughly 650 loyal union members, in Jersey City, supports someone, it’s a good thing. I am honored to be the only candidate running who is a member of Local 246.
However, more than anything, I have the support of my family and friends and when all is said and done; those are the ones that count most. No one can ever doubt the Love, Friendship and Loyalty I feel for my family and friends and whether I win this election for Pension Commissioner or not, that will never change.
As a Waddleton, I’ve always felt that real Jersey City people are not only my friends but, yes, they are my family too.
To finish off this article because we all know I can write forever, I ask all those who are in what’s known as the Jersey City Pension, those that pay into the Employees Retirement System, to follow all instructions and Vote Waddleton.
