Dear Editor:
Since 1991, my family and I have had the Halloween experience at the “Hoboken’s Haunted House” sponsored by the Russo Civic Assoc.
Year after year, 18 years, we are amazed at the spooktacular way the exhibits are put up. It is different every year and there are always surprises. If you have never visited, you must plan for next year, you will be impressed and, like us, you will be a guest every Halloween.
Besides the way this successful event is put together, what is really outstanding is the dedication and volunteerism of this group of people. To run such an event for the entire city requires a tremendous amount of planning and manpower.
I want to acknowledge the Russo Civic Assoc. for their tireless efforts on behalf of our Community and for living up to its name “Civic”. Hoboken’s Haunted House is just one of many events hosted by the Assoc.
In closing, I thank the Russo Civic Assoc. and its volunteers for entertaining my family on Halloween and look forward to being spooked again next year.
