A funeral mass was offered Nov. 21 at St. Elizabeth’s R.C. Church, Wyckoff, for Rita Marie Vollkommer, 88. She died peacefully on Nov. 17. Born and raised in Hoboken, she lived in Rutherford for the past 25 years. Rita is survived by her two daughters, Linda Vollkommer-Lynch and husband Dennis, and Denise Grillo and Ron Cauchard. She is also survived by her grandchildren Krista and Steven Grillo, Jr. and her brother William Spellman and wife Dorothy. Rita was predeceased by her husband John F., to whom she was married for many wonderful years, and her brothers, John and Edward. Services arranged by the Vander Plaat Funeral Home, Wyckoff.
