Because of the acute housing problems in our area, the Hoboken Public Library is sponsoring a Housing Fair on Wednesday, Nov. 18 at the library, located at 5th and Park Ave. Fifteen experts on housing will be at the fair to offer advice or answer questions regarding housing problems.
They will be prepared to discuss such issues as foreclosure mediations and assistance, tenant rights, rental regulations, rent disputes, credits and loans and other housing problems. The experts represent federal, state, county and local government agencies, as well as public advocacy groups.
The fair is open to all Hoboken and Hudson County residents and runs between 11 a.m. and 2 p.m. The fair is free of charge to the public and help will be offered in both English and Spanish.
