Funeral mass was celebrated Nov. 11 at St Nicholas R.C. Church, Jersey City, for Paul W. “Shecky” Greene. He passed away Nov. 6. Paul was born in Brooklyn, and was a resident of Jersey City for 34 years. He was a police officer in Jersey City who spent most of his career in the Motorcycle Squad and retired in 2004 after 25 years. He served his country during the Vietnam era. He is survived by his wife Jane (nee Rubini) Greene. He was the father of Jill A. Marsella and her husband Joseph and Brian Greene JCPD and his wife Tara; and brother of Mary Murphy.
