A funeral mass was offered Nov. 9 at St. Mary of the Lake R.C. Church, Lakewood, for Elizabeth Burchill, 62, of Lakewood. She passed away Nov. 5 at Ocean Medical Center in Brick. Elizabeth was born in New York, NY, and lived in Hoboken for many years before moving to Lakewood in 1988. Elizabeth worked as a cook for Georgian Court University for 20 years, was a member of the marriage ministry for St. Joseph Church in Hoboken and a parishioner of St. Mary of the Lake R.C. Church in Lakewood. Elizabeth was predeceased by her husband William and her sister Linda Ehret. She is survived by her two daughters and son, Kimberly Burns of Toms River, Shawn Vizenfelder of Waretown, and William Burchill Jr. of Lakewood; her five grandchildren, Whittnie, Conor, Kyle, Richard and Taylor; her brother Jimmy Kyle and sister Donna Primavera, and her special four legged friend Jack.
