Dear Editor:
Thank you fellow Hobokenites –we did it! Dawn Zimmer is now our new mayor and I’m so proud and happy to say that. The people saw through all the money that Beth Mason spent on flyers, newspaper ads, TV spots, etc. to spread her “message” (which in some cases were just flat-out lies) and voted for Dawn instead. I love that. Thankfully, this time there will be no holding our breath as the provisional & absentee ballots get counted. Dawn won and she won big! We now finally have the leadership, direction and most of all real hope that we’ve been needing for a long time. Today feels good.
