Empty Sky 9/11 memorial discussed on local TV

HUDSON COUNTY–A local TV show will have guests discuss the controversial statewide 9/11 Memorial that the state is building at Liberty State Park. Some local activists believe it will block skyline views and should be built differently. However, supporters are seeking funds to continue building it.
The Weekly Show, a NJ-based TV show hosted by Jersey City’s own Mr. Pat O’Melia, will air this Thursday October 29 at 6 p.m. on Cablevision channel 18. Comcast airs it same day, this Thursday Oct. 29 at a different time, at 7p.m. on Comcast channel 190 and/or “local” channel. Or go to the EMPTY SKY – NJ Sept 11 Memorial Foundation website www.nj911memorial.org to view an embedded version.
Hudson County native Betzy Parks will speak on behalf of the EMPTY SKY NJ Sept 11 Memorial. As Parks articulates on air, the architect completed phase 2 of this project prior to this recent past 8 year anniversary of this tragic day. The NJ Sept 11 Memorial Foundation is a non-profit 501c[3].
Going into phase 3, the completion phase of the memorial walls under construction in Liberty State Park on the waterfront directly across from Ground Zero, this group is mounting an awareness and fund-raising campaign.
