Yankees going to World Series! Predictions anyone?

ALL TOWNS — It’s not Hoboken, Jersey City or Hudson County news but it’s big news in New Jersey, New York or wherever there is a NY Yankees fan: The Yankees are going to the World Series.
The Yankees won 5-2 against the Los Angeles Angels late Sunday night in a thrilling Game 6 of the American League Championship Series (ALCS) at Yankees Stadium to clinch a spot in the 2009 World Series.
The Yankees now face the Philadelphia Phillies in Game 1 of the World Series at Yankees Stadium on Wednesday night when Yankees ace left-hander C.C. Sabathia will face Phillies left-hander Cliff Lee, both past Cy Young Award winners.
Sabathia was named the MVP of the ALCS for winning two games during the series.
And their 40th trip to the Fall Classic was due in Game 6 to the solid pitching of starter Andy Pettitte, who won his major league record 16th win in postseason play, and relievers Joba Chamberlain and Mariano Rivera (pictured), who pitched two innings in relief for the 37th postseason save in his illustrious career.
The Yankees have won 26 World Series, the last win coming in 2000 over crosstown rivals the New York Mets. Their last appearance was 2003 when they lost to the Florida Marlins. The Phillies will be going to the World Series for the 7th time, most recently winning last year over the Tampa Bay Rays.
