A funeral mass was offered Oct. 17 at St. Francis R.C. Church, Hoboken, for Anthony “Tony” Calabrese, 83, a lifelong Hoboken resident. He passed away Oct. 14 at the Compassionate Care Hospice in the Atrium in Jersey City. Tony was a retired bartender for Casella’s, Portofino, and Romano’s Restaurants in Hoboken. He was the husband of Antoinette (Piantieri); the father of Christina Turhune, Toni Ann Leech, and Helena Mulvaney; the grandfather of Thomas, Dana, Nicole, Sean, Alex, Joshua, and Cliff, and the great-grandfather of Anthony Michael. Services arranged by the Failla Memorial Home, Hoboken.
