A SERIOUS COMMUNICATOR, LEGALLY, PUBLIC AND PRIVATE!!!

It took several conversations to get the gist of this man’s personality, but this columnist found it rewarding! Secaucus attorney-at-law Peter M. Weiner will never surprise anyone. For what he believes in, he will always reiterate in like fashion, even if he has to use other wordage and language to do so, as he wants to be understood fully! Thus, a person cannot go wrong if one is asking for advice or an opinion on basically anything that is asked of Mr. Peter Weiner.
Born in Manhattan, Weiner came to North Bergen in 1960, and then moved into Guttenberg for a time, and then moved back into North Bergen. It was in 1978 that he moved into Secaucus, which was six years after he got married to his lovely wife Mary Ann, who was born in Jersey City and was raised in North Bergen. They have lived in the town of Secaucus ever since!
Mr. Weiner graduated from North Bergen High School in 1964, and served in the United States Army from 1965 to 1968. Afterward, he became a helicopter mechanic at the Teterboro School of Aeronautics in Bergen County, and studied there for two years. However, in 1971, he entered Fairleigh Dickinson University/Rutherford Campus, and studied on and off until 1982 and graduated cum laude with a bachelor of science degree in business administration. Afterward, he entered Seton Hall Law School/Newark Campus, and graduated with a Juris Doctorate Degree in 1990.
Mr. Weiner tells us that he always wanted to become a lawyer, but the avenue never fully presented itself until then, and he is very happy of his choice in professional life. He opened-up his own private practice in 1990 in his home at first, and then in 1991 he opened-up his own private office in Secaucus.
Mr. Weiner and his wife have raised a family they are proud of, and they have a son Peter Jr., and a daughter Leeann. Both children are in their twenties.
Mr. Weiner believes that a community-minded person should get involved in the community he or she lives in; thus he has become a member of several organizations. Mr. Weiner is the immediate past-president of the Secaucus Chapter of UNICO for three years. He is also a Fourth Degree Knight of the Immaculate Conception Roman Catholic Parish Church Knights of Columbus, and is also a member of the town’s Kiwanis Club. Mr.
Weiner also recently ran to be the Democratic nominee for mayor of Secaucus in the Primary Election of June, 2009 and achieved 44 per cent of the votes cast. He lost the election, but was very happy for the experience he had and the many new friends he made, and thus he plans to be and stay active in his community and support the new mayor and Town Council that will be elected this coming November, 2009 in any way he can assist!
Mr. Weiner tells us that he was the Secaucus public defender for 17 years, and was also an attorney for the Secaucus Planning Board from 1995 to 1997.
In his leisure time, Weiner likes to go fishing, and as for sports, he likes the New York Yankees, the New York Giants, and the New Jersey Devils. As for music, he likes the music of the 1950s and 1960s and Jazz and Doo Wop music. As for travel, he has traveled to Italy, Switzerland, cross-country USA, up and down the East Coast, and has been to Canada.
As a lawyer, he has a general practice providing personal injury/real estate, and Municipal Court Criminal Law services. Helping people with community affairs is another way that he helps people with their problems, and his wife also helps in this regard, too! Mr. Weiner is also an arbitrator for the Better Business Bureau, and aside from all this activity, he will still find time to go fishing with his son! Thus, as the reader can see, Mr. Peter Weiner is a very thoughtful and helpful community-minded servant of the people. In all your endeavors in the future, All the best!!! …
