A funeral service took place Oct. 10 at the Greek Ascension Church, Fairview, for Katina Trapanis. She passed away Oct. 8 at the Palisades Medical Center, North Bergen. Born in Sparta, Greece, she was a homemaker. She was the wife of the late Alexander Trapanis; the mother of Nick Trapanis and his wife Lisa, Diane Festa and her husband John; the sister of Chris and Mary Santorinios, and the grandmother of Jodi, Cynthia, Alexandra and Richard.
