When you go to the polls this Nov. 3, there shouldn’t be anyone within 100 feet of the polls “educating” you about the election, giving out literature, or asking you questions.
The New Jersey Supreme Court said in a Sept. 30 decision that state laws banning electioneering within 100 feet of the polls also apply to the American Civil Liberties Union’s attempt to hand out voter-rights cards, or any organizations conducting interviews.
This is not to say that those groups won’t be handing things out further away.
