Funeral services were held Oct. 9 for Michele Corine Hurt. She passed away Oct. 5 at Memorial Sloan Kettering in New York City. She had been employed at the U.S. Postal Service as a clerk. She was the wife of Kevin G. Hurt; the mother of Damon L., Cory R. and Iona Reid; the daughter of Iona Reid and the late Robert W. Reid; the sister of Walter R., Dirwin M. and Dwayne Reid, Andriene Hayes and the late Karen Lewis; Uncle Carl Reid. She is also survived by a host of loving nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends. Services arranged by the Watson Mortuary Service, Jersey City.
