Bijou Properties supports Arts Studio Tour

Dear Editor:
Bijou Properties is once again pleased to lend its support to the Hoboken Artists’ Studio Tour.
This marks our second year as a sponsor of the Tour, which attracts visitors and artists literally from around the world. Bijou Properties is certainly proud to be a part a of this important Hoboken tradition, now in its 29th year.
We are equally pleased that as a result of our sponsorship, we have helped integrate the art of students from the Elysian Charter School into the Tour; their work is currently on display in the windows of CVS along 14th Street. We encourage everyone to stop by to see the talent and creativity of these young people. They certainly represent a hopeful future for the arts here in Hoboken.
In the last year, Bijou Properties has embarked on an aggressive campaign to help support the Hoboken arts community.
We have always maintained that the artists were among the key elements that helped change the course of Hoboken’s history; they were clearly the catalyst for the City’s Renaissance in the late 70s and early 80s. We believe that Hoboken must retain its arts community, and it is our hope that sponsorship of the Artists’ Studio Tour and involvement with other like efforts will help realize that goal for the future of the great City of Hoboken.
We would also like to take this opportunity to congratulate Acting Mayor Dawn Zimmer, the City Council, and Geri Fallo and the Hoboken Division of Cultural and Heritage Affairs not only for a job well done, but also for their ongoing efforts in helping preserve and spotlight the arts in Hoboken.
Bijou Properties looks forward to continuing this relationship into the future.

Sincerely,
Larry Bijou,
Bijou Properties
