The Steven Strobert Foundation held the 8th Annual Steven Strobert Golf Classic on Sept 12, 2009 at Wild Turkey Golf Club. The 120 golfers who attended the event deserve a hand for playing through the inclement weather and for continuing to support our efforts year after year. The course was filled with sponsors despite the hard economic times, which is a testament to the hard work and dedication of the Foundation’s Board of Directors. The Steven Strobert Foundation raises money by holding three fundraisers throughout the year, a golf classic in the fall, a softball tournament in the summer and a dinner at the Pegasus in early spring.
The Steven Strobert Foundation, Inc. is a not for profit organization dedicated to supporting opportunities for children through education, athletics and improved quality of life. The focus of the Foundation is to help children, particularly those who have suffered greatly in their young lives to discover the extraordinary person within themselves.
On behalf of the organization I would like to thank all of the golfers, sponsors and volunteers for making this event such a success.
