Private funeral services have been held for Marie C. (Kay) Knolker, 100, formerly of New Jersey, who died Sept. 15 at her residence in East Fryeburg, Maine. She was born in Jersey City, the daughter of William and Della Roberts Schack, and attended local schools. Marie was employed most of her life in the textile industry. Many years ago she was involved in bowling clubs, and was also an avid knitter. She was predeceased by her husbands, Rudolph Kay and William Knolker. She is survived by her son George Kay and his wife Roselyn, of Fryeburg; two granddaughters, JoAnn Sparks, of Fryeburg and Elaine Johnson and her husband Chris, of Brownfield; four great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandson; four step-grandchildren and their families; and several nieces and nephews.
