Dear Editor:
I would like to take this opportunity to thank Carole Dorr for inviting me to attend the raising of the POW/MIA flag ceremony held at Kroll Heights on Sept. 18, 2009. I would also like to thank Carole Dorr’s family for donating the POW/MIA flag, which now serves as a remembrance of the sacrifices endured by our heroes. It was heart-warming to spend an enjoyable evening with so many seniors, including individuals who served our county years ago. It is great to see how involved and independent they are as well as the seniors throughout the town. Again, thank you so much.
