After a few days of cloudy weather, it seemed as though the sun and sky got together to make a day perfect for a parade. Organizations from all over the town participated in Weehawken’s 150th anniversary parade, which weaved its way through many of Weehawken’s most prominent streets including Park Avenue, Boulevard East, and Hackensack Plank Road.
Over 50 groups came to be a part of the parade.

“Everyone from town really came together to help make this parade the largest in Weehawken’s history, which was my goal,” said Donna Daly from the Department of Recreation. “Every group came to many meetings and was so supportive and genuinely excited about participating in the parade.”
