A funeral service was held Sept. 12 for Esperanza Fernandez, 92. She passed away Sept. 7 at Hospice by the Sea, Hollywood, Fla. She was born in Camaguey, Cuba and came to the US in 1969. She resided in North Bergen before moving to Florida. She is survived by her son, Esteban and his wife, Helvia. She was the grandmother of Eileen and Esteban Fernandez, Jr. and his wife, Elizabeth. Services arranged by the Morgado Funeral Home, Union City.
