Funeral services were held for Frederick H. Ballard, 92. He died Sept. 12. Frederick was head of maintenance for Memorial High School of West New York. He was a veteran of World War II. He enlisted in the U.S. Air Force where he was a navigator flying B29s. He was the husband of 70 years to Antoinette; the father of Shirley Breyer and the late Richard Ballard; the grandfather of Lynn DeSandis, Scott Breyer and Kristen Roy, and the great grandfather of Kaitlyn and Nicholas DeSandis. Services arranged by the Volk Leber Funeral Home, Oradell.
