One of the greatest events of the season will take place on Sept. 20 at 3 p.m. and will be hosted by St. Andrew’s Church: a breathtaking afternoon of opera featuring one of Bayonne High School’s most talented alumna, Dramatic Soprano Miss Lazarita Carmen Perez, with guest artists Mezzo Soprano Dianela Acosta, Lyric Soprano Shana Joy Grassi, Coloratura Soprano Ai Saito, and pianist Eric Sedgwick. Selections will include pieces by Mozart, Puccini and Strauss.
