Francisco Marejo from the 100th block of Duncan Avenue in Jersey City was arrested Sunday night at 10:30 p.m., according to Director of West New York Police Oscar Fernandez, who said that detectives Jose Arroyo and Jackson Perez along with the assistance of the Union City Police Department apprehended Marejo.
The 45 year-old, 5 foot 10 Marejo has been charged with robbery and possession of a weapon for an unlawful purpose for allegedly robbing a TD bank on the afternoon of Wednesday, Sept. 9. No word has been given on how much money the alleged robber was able to flee with.
FBI officials said that the alleged thief told the bank teller that he had a weapon but did not display it.
