A funeral mass was celebrated Aug. 29 at Our Lady of Victories Church, Jersey City, for Jean “Gina” Taibi, 91, formerly of Jersey City. She passed away Aug. 25. Jean was born in Jersey City and moved to Brick Township six years ago. She was a member of Our Lady of Victories Church Rosary Society and a devout patron of St. Jude Novena at St. Lucy’s Church, Jersey City. She was an active parishioner of Epiphany Church, Brick. She was the wife of the late Joseph Taibi; the mother of Marina and the late Raymond and William Taibi; the grandmother of Gina, Joseph and Richard Taibi; the sister of Marie Maillie, Nancy DelGiodice, Gabe Dispoto, Mildred Baccile and the late Joseph, James and Albert Dispoto. She is also survived by loving nieces and nephews. Services arranged by the Riotto Funeral Home, Jersey City.
