To the Editor:
Recently, one of the Scouts from Our Lady of the Assumption Church, Troop 27, Michael Alburtus, did a project in order to get his Eagle badge. In memory of his late troop leader, Mr. Michael Macalush, lovingly remembered as Mr. Mac, he ran a food drive in order to replenish the shelves of O.L.A.’s food pantry. As a result of his hard work and dedication, Michael collected over 2,000 items for our pantry!
On behalf of the food pantry committee, we would like to extend to him our warmest thanks and gratitude. Congratulations, Michael, on a job well done! Mr. Mac would be so proud of you!
