Dear Editor:
I just returned from a pleasant trip through N.J. (Turnpike, Rte. 78 and local towns). Most roads are smooth – Rte. 78 was just paved – a beautiful smooth ride – then I enter Hoboken – from the Pulaski Skyway through underpass into Hoboken and one road in particular !! It is not a road – it is nothing but one huge crater after another!! This road (whole area) hasn’t been like this for six months or 1 year – it’s been like that for 25 years!!!! What is wrong with Hoboken citizens? Why do you put up with horrible roads like this for 25 years? Guess it is not PROFITABLE to fix roads but they can build condos and build condos!!! Hoboken citizens need to speak up!! Weehawken has great roads BUT Weehawken seems to think having drunken bums on PARK Ave. is NO PROBLEM !!!
