Funeral services were held Aug. 15 at St. John’s Baptist Church, Jersey City, for Minnie Judy Weldon. She was born in Jersey City. She passed away Aug. 6. Minnie was a graduate of St. Peter’s College. Minnie was employed by the Jersey City Medical Center as a registration manager and a member of the Family Health Center’s Management team for over 29 years. Whenever you had to go the Medical Center, you were always told, “See Minnie.” Minnie was a dedicated member of Continuous Flow Christian Center of Jersey City. She was also a member of St. John’s, The House of Prayer, and Real Love Baptist Church. Minnie loved her family and was a proud grandmother, attending every event her grandchildren were involved in. Surviving to cherish Minnie’s memory are her son, Minister Michael Weldon (Sharon); her brother, Robert Weldon (Michele); her sister, Sharon Borders; her grandchildren, Bria and Taylor and a host of nieces, nephews, godchildren, other loving relatives and friends.
