An anonymous person calling himself “Bob Abouey” has been running a campaign to push Hoboken resident and comedian Artie Lange to run for mayor in November. While Lange himself has not responded, his boss, radio shock jock Howard Stern, apparently supported the idea on the air, according to Abouey.
The campaign slogan is “You know what you’re getting.” Well put. Lange’s alleged substance abuse problems have been written about many times.
