Karen Elaine Smith and Charles Patrick Centimole were united in marriage on October 11, 2008 at Westminster Presbyterian Church in Wilkes-Barre, Pa. The Reverend Micki Robinson performed the ceremony.
The bride is the daughter of Joseph and Shirley Smith of Wilkes-Barre, Pa. The groom is the son of Frank and Nancy Centimole of Bayonne.
Given in marriage by her father, the bride chose her sisters Traci Ann Smallcomb and Cheryl Lynn Armitage as matrons of honor. Bridesmaids were Christine Crowley, sister of groom; and Kellyann Calo and Debra Aston-Eleoterio, friends of the bride. Junior bridesmaid was Paige Crowley, niece of the groom. Flower girls were Bailey Madison Smallcomb and Ashley Lynn Armitage, nieces of the bride.
The groom chose Brian Centimole and Billy Crowley as his best men. Groomsmen were Daniel Mattessich, cousin-in-law of groom; James Walsh, uncle of the groom; and James Smallcomb, brother-in-law of bride. Junior usher was Tyler Smallcomb, nephew of bride. Ring bearers were Spencer Armitage, nephew of the bride; and Xavier Centimole, nephew of the groom. Honorary ring bearer was Noah Centimole, son of bride and groom.
Scripture readings were given by Kimberly Frame, cousin of the bride; Mark Armitage, brother-in-law of bride; and James Walsh.
The reception was held at The Ramada Inn, Public Square in Wilkes-Barre, Pa.
The bride is a graduate of E.L. Meyers High School and Wilkes University, where she received a degree in medical technology. She is currently employed by Geisinger South Wilkes Barre as a medical technologist.
The groom is a graduate of Bayonne High School and attended college in Boston, Mass. He is employed by The Scooter Store in Hanover Township, Pa., as a mobility manager.
The couple honeymooned in Cooperstown, N.Y. They reside in Hanover Township, Pa., with their son Noah.
