A funeral mass was offered Aug. 4 at Holy Family R.C. Church for Francis Arena, 79, of Secaucus. He passed away July 30 at Meadowlands Hospital in Secaucus. He was born in Jersey City and was an accountant for David Berden, Inc. in New York, and a member of the U.S. Coast Guard during the Korean War. He was the husband of the late Margaret; the father of Mary Ann Varin and her husband Stephen; the grandfather of James and his wife Rose; the great grandfather of April, Anthony and Michael, and the great-great grandfather of Nicolas.
