Bigger anti-Cammarano protest planned for Monday evening

Members of the public and at least one Hoboken taxpayer group are planning a second protest against arrested Mayor Peter Cammarano Monday evening at 6 p.m. This time, it will be at Hoboken City Hall at First and Washington streets.
Also, the taxpayers’ group Hoboken Revolt has planned a press conference earlier, at 5 p.m.
Revolt made this announcement:
“IN RESPONSE TO THE RECENT INDICTMENT OF MAYOR PETER CAMMARANO:
“HOBOKEN REVOLT WILL BE CONDUCTING A PRESS CONFERENCE ON MONDAY, JULY 27TH AT 5:00 P.M. ON THE STEPS OF CITY HALL FOLLOWED BY A COMMUNITY RALLY AT 6:00 P.M.
“CITIZENS ARE ASKED TO BRING THEIR FRIENDS AND FAMILY TO EXPRESS THEIR CONCERN AND OUTRAGE OVER THE ALLEGED ACTIONS OF OUR MAYOR. THE EYES OF THE NATION ARE UPON US…LET’S SHOW THEM HOW WE FEEL.”
The first protest occurred this past Saturday at 11 a.m. outside the mayor’s Bloomfield Street residence. We posted video an hour later on this site – just go back to our homepage by clicking “Home” at the top, then click on “More up to the minute news” if it has scrolled too far down to read.
