The Hudson County Board of Chosen Freeholders is moving to investigate new problems at County Plaza, a recently opened facility for welfare and other offices.
Last week, the facility failed fire inspection because of a lack of fire plan on site as well as obstructions in front of fire exits. This week, union officials complained that the bathroom dispensers for soap – including the men’s room near the 7th floor cafeteria – were empty.
This means employees are unable to wash their hands after going to the toilet, they noted.
County officials in charge of the facility said the problem would be solved in “a couple of days.”
“This is unacceptable,” said Freeholder Bill O’Dea. Al Sullivan
