The second annual All Points West Music and Arts Festival returns to Liberty State Park in Jersey City from Friday, July 31, through Sunday, Aug. 2.
More than 60 artists will perform at the three-day, multi-stage music and arts festival with the Beastie Boys, Coldplay, and Tool headlining. Other performers include Echo & The Bunnymen, My Bloody Valentine, Neko Case, Yeah Yeah Yeahs, and the Arctic Monkeys. Like last year’s concert, they will appear on different stages throughout the 80-acre location, which offers panoramic views of the Statue of Liberty, Ellis Island, and the Manhattan skyline.

The comedy comes in the form of the CollegeHumor Live tour, with comedians like Janeane Garofalo participating.
There will be other diversions, such as All Points West teaming up with the Renegade Craft Fair – the biggest, best and the most well-known of all the DIY (do-it-yourself) craft fairs – for an on-site store featuring unique handmade items including housewares, jewelry, posters and prints, plush items, clothing, and stationery from more than 50 crafters.
There will also be a pre-event concert to kickoff All Points West on Thursday, July 30 at the Nokia Theatre in Manhattan, with performances from Staten Island’s rap kings Method Man, Redman, and Ghostface Killah. Access to that concert is for those who have already purchased tickets to All Points West.

Friday July 31:
The Beastie Boys, Yeah Yeah Yeahs and Vampire Weekend are the main performers.
Others performing include The National, Fleet Foxes, MSTRKRFT, Q-Tip, The Pharcyde, Organized Konfusion, The Knux, Ra Ra Riot, Seasick Steve, Telepathe, Shearwater, Heartless Bastards, Xavier Rudd, Flying Lotus, Rye Rye, Arj Barker, Eugene Mirman, and Bo Burnham.
Saturday Aug. 1:
Tool, My Bloody Valentine and Gogol Bordello will headline.
Other performers include Arctic Monkeys, Neko Case, The Ting Tings, Crystal Castles, St. Vincent, Tokyo Police Club, …And You Will Know Us By The Trail Of Dead, The Cool Kids, Kool Keith, Cage the Elephant, Chairlift, White Rabbits, Electric Touch, The Postelles, Black Gold, The Honey Brothers, Tim & Eric, Judah Friedlander, and Jim Jefferies.
Sunday Aug. 2:
Coldplay, Echo & The Bunnymen, and MGMT will headline.
Also performing will be The Black Keys, Elbow, Silversun Pickups, Mogwai, We Are Scientists, Ghostland Observatory, The Gaslight Anthem, Etienne De Crecy, Lykke Li, Akron, Family, Steel Train, Kitty, Daisy and Lewis, La Roux, Janeane Garofolo, Michael Showalter and Todd Barry.
A few reminders
Tickets for All Points West are on sale now at all Ticketmaster locations. Single day tickets are $89 and a limited number of three-day passes are available for $199.
Festival goers who choose to travel to the site on the Hudson-Bergen Light Rail line can ride for free throughout the weekend with their All Points West festival ticket. Additionally, ferry service from Battery Park Pier is available for $15 in advance, $20 during the week of APW, or $25 the day of the show. On-site parking is also available for $30 per day.
The producers say they’ve worked with Liberty State Park to improve the fan experience in the beer gardens. This year’s areas will be larger, have shorter lines, and feature shade tents, views of the stages, and food concessions.
