A memorial service was held July 3 for Ruben V. Cales, 57. He passed away June 30. Ruben was a retired maintenance engineer for Van Leer Chocolate, Jersey City. He was the father of Rebecca, Ruben and Angelica Cales; the grandfather of Brianna Solivan and Dalia Cales; the brother of Amador, Jamie, Raymond, Israel, Hector, Maria, Josephine, Gladys and Diana, and the uncle of Edwin, Adalberto and Aimee Colon.
