PealCollection expresses gratitude

To the Editor:
We would like to express our sincere thanks to Rev. Barbara Kotora, pastor of First Federated Church, Rev. William Willard, pastor of First Baptist Church, Rev. Laura Thelander, pastor of Grace Lutheran Church, and Steve Wolfson of the Masonic Temple, Freemason Lodge No. 99 for being a part of the PealCollection’s June 7 Midtown Avenue C Walking Tour.
We would like to thank the participants who proved to us, once again, that there are many people who appreciate Bayonne as much as we do. We were happy to have you on the tour and we thank you for your support.
For most on the tour, it was the first time visiting the churches and the temple. It was a great opportunity to learn about some of our town’s treasured landmark sites.
We also want to thank “The Jersey Journal” and the local “Bayonne Journal” for coverage of PealCollection events. Both have been most generous and we appreciate it.
Getting to know the history of Bayonne is what PealCollection is all about. We take great pride in our hometown. It has a rich history of which we can all be proud, and we dedicate our events to the sharing of that history.
Once again, thank you to everyone who helped make our newest walking tour a success! It will be back!
