Funeral services were held May 15 for Mark Skaro, 84. He passed away May 5. Born in Richmond, N.Y., he lived in Jersey City most of his life before moving to Toms River. Mr. Skaro was a retired employee of CBS Networks in New York City. He was a U.S. Navy Veteran of World War II, and his hobby was birdwatching. He was predeceased by his wife, Lena, and is survived by a sister, Lola Skaro, of New York City, and a nephew, Gary “Tommy” Skaro of Lakehurst, N.J. Services arranged by the McLaughlin Funeral Home, Jersey City.
