Thank you, Bayonne patriots

To the Editor:
The American Legion Auxiliary, Bayonne Unit No. 19 drive for female-specific items to be donated to U.S. female troops was a great success. Once again, the people of Bayonne were extremely supportive and generous. We collected many, many items for our female troops. Special thanks go to the members and citizens of the community who helped Debbie Noble, Unit No. 19 president, facilitate the transportation of these female-specific personal items to be sent as donations on a global-scale to U.S. female troops.
All support for the Unit No. 19 drive for U.S. female military personnel is sincerely valued. As a women’s group, the American Legion Auxiliary Unit No. 19 wanted to have an event during Woman’s History Month to support our female troops and it was a wonderful success thanks to the leadership of Debbie Noble, who also donated the cost of transporting, boxing, and taping of donation packages.
Thank you to the “Bayonne Community News,” “Hudson Reporter,” “The Jersey Journal,” nj.com, and Cablevision for publishing A.L. Post No. 19 announcements.
Once again, thank you, Bayonne patriots.
