Dear Editor:
I’m writing this letter to all my friends, neighbors and residents. I have been living in this town for 22 years, a town which I am proud to say I come from when asked. Over the course of time I have seen a lot of changes especially now. We are facing hard times, our taxes have been going up, taxpayers money have been spent foolishly especially within the past two years with the current administration using our money to fight Councilman Mike Gonnelli in court. In my opinion this money could have been used for Public Safety and Education. We had a Rec. Center build in town without a say from us, the taxpayers. Well you know what that means? Up we go again! Now the Rec. just became a wreck for us, the taxpayers. Things are being done, our tax dollars are being spent without us having a clue of what is happening.
Well it’s time to take back Secaucus. We need a leader who will provide an open form of government accessible to the people. Well, now we have that leader, Councilman Mike Gonnelli, who on May 5th formally announced his candidacy for Mayor in front of a group of over five hundred. Now I am asking you, the People of Secaucus to come out and support the Take Back Secaucus team headed by Councilman Mike Gonnelli for Mayor. Remember in November it is time to Take Back Secaucus.
