A man was caught allegedly exposing himself on the 300 block of First Street in Hoboken on Monday, police said. And apparently, he didn’t get too far afterwards.
A witness phoned police on Monday, May 11 at roughly 6 p.m. complaining of a light-skinned male allegedly exposing himself and allegedly performing a sex act on himself on the sidewalk of First Street.
The witness told police that the man then left the scene in a 2006 Honda.
Police caught a suspect on Sinatra Drive just 24 minutes later. Upon approach, police found that the man allegedly had his pants open and zipper down as he was driving, police said.
The suspect, a 47-year-old man from Jackson, N.J., was indentified at headquarters by the witness and charged with lewdness and endangering the welfare of children.
