Dear Editor:
I have known Beth Mason for a long time and wish to express the strongest possible endorsement for her for Mayor of Hoboken.
Over the years I have seen Beth stand up time and time again to fight for the improvement of people’s lives in this community. She has passionately dedicated her life to fighting for good government. Her work for transparency and open public records have made this city a better place. It makes me sad to realize how much money our elected officials wasted fighting for the records Beth tried to get under the Freedom of Information Act. The suspicions we had that these officials were trying to hide something were proven true when the court made them give up the records! I am grateful Beth had the energy and courage to keep on fighting for all of us.
Beth worked toward the betterment of our community as a private citizen long before she ran for public office. I have the utmost confidence that as mayor she will take public service to the highest levels, and will work tirelessly for our entire community.
On May 12, I am voting for Beth Mason and her entire team for One Hoboken, and encourage all of you to do the same.
