A funeral mass was offered May 2 at St. Francis Roman Catholic Church, Hoboken, for Celeste M. Cavener, 90. She passed away April 29 at Hoboken University Medical Center. She devoted her entire life to her family and to those in need. She will always be remembered for her generosity of spirit, her many acts of kindness, her compassionate wisdom, her integrity, her strength of character, her ability to cook like a four star master chef, her wonderful sense of humor, and her gentle and loving smile. She was the mother of Marisela Bello, John T. Cavener, Jr., Elizabeth Mazzola, Caroline Occhipinti, Steve Cavener, and Albert Cavener; the grandmother of Martino St. Bello, Kimberly Cramer, Angela McCoy, John Anthony Mazzola, Adam Occhipinti, Jason Occhipinti, Gina Occhipinti, Christina Occhipinti, Eric Cavener, and Nicholas Cavener. She is also survived by five great-grandchildren, Angelina, Robert, Nicholas, Leonardo, and Kendall; a sister, Violetta Bobadilla, and many loved relatives and adoring friends.
