The Rockefeller Group has been buying up land in northern Hoboken for a development, including the area near Burlington Coat Factory. The city is considering how to rezone the area to let them develop.
However, Councilpeople Dawn Zimmer and Peter Cunningham are concerned. They, along with community taxpayer activist Richard Pasquarelli, are hosting a public get-together/brainstorming session to talk about what should go in that neighborhood.

Here’s the release on the brainstorming session, to which you are invited:

WHEN: Wednesday, April 22, 7-9 PM
WHERE: Elks Club, Downstairs, 1005 Washington St.
WHO: The session is open to all concerned Hoboken residents.
WHY: “Development plans should begin with what the community wants, not what the developers want. This session is designed to begin to get community input assisted by experts who think outside the box and can give a sense of the possibilities.”
