Dear Editor:
We grew up with Charles Krajewski III, witnessed his success as a student athlete in our public schools and now we admire his accomplishments as teacher and businessman – not to mention his devotion as a husband and father of two. We are proud this favorite son of Secaucus is dedicated to making our town an even better place to live by running for the Board of Education on Tuesday, April 21.
You’ll not find a more loyal friend than Charlie; he has an uncommon sense of justice and fidelity toward whomever needs a helping hand. He is one of the most successful people we know, and his roots remain planted firmly in Secaucus. Without question, he appreciates the excellent education and extracurricular programs that this town afforded him. He gained a sense of pride in one’s community that shapes a boy into a man of integrity. As a fourth-generation native of Secaucus and a father, he realizes the need to give back to ones’ community, and this is why he is running for our Board of Education.
Beyond Charlie’s intelligence and business acumen which make him perfectly suited for this position, he knows how to work with people of all perspectives and backgrounds. He gained from his father, the renowned and much loved proprietor of Charlie’s Corner, the ability to connect with people, to make everyone feel welcome – strangers and old friends alike. From his late mother Sharon he inherited a sense of warmth and compassion. Even at a young age, Charlie proved he is a born teacher and volunteer, showing younger and disabled children how to play baseball while we were vacationing at the Jersey Shore. Currently he is a role model to his students, many of whom may need more than anything in their lives an encouraging adult who provides real life inspiration to succeed through self-reliance and hard work. As a teacher he does so much more than lecture students from a textbook. Charlie is a man of boundless energy; with all he gives personally and professionally we have never seen him grow tired. When we were children he became part of our family – we urge you to elect him to advocate and work on behalf of yours. Vote Charles Krajewski III for Board of Education on April 21.
